Launch checklist for a new loyalty card

Getting started

Ten minutes of checks before your first customer scans, so nothing catches you out at the counter.

Work down this list once and you can hand the card to a customer with confidence. None of it takes long.

Your branding

  • Under Settings, then Brand, check the business name is the one customers know you by. It is what they see on the card and on the sign-up page.
  • Upload your logo in the same place, if you have one.
  • Set your brand colour. The card and the sign-up page are painted in it.

Your offer

  • Read the reward wording back to yourself as if a customer asked. It shows on the card, so vague wording gets queried at the counter.
  • Check the stamp count is the one you meant. Nine stamps means the reward is due on the tenth visit.
  • Decide whether new customers should start on a free stamp. The Offer tab has a switch for it, under Enrolment stamp, and it is off unless you say otherwise.
  • Open Card Design and look at the preview. That is exactly what a customer will be carrying.

Test it yourself, end to end

  1. Download the Counter Sign from the Program’s Resources tab and open it, or point your own phone at the QR on screen.
  2. Sign up as if you were a customer, using an email address you can open.
  3. Add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and open the card page as well.
  4. Open LoyalPack App on a second device, or on the same one, and scan your own card.
  5. Add a stamp and check the count moves.

Your test sign-up is a real customer record and counts towards your plan, so use one address rather than several.

Your counter

  • Print the poster and put it where somebody paying can see it without moving.
  • Show whoever works the counter how to open LoyalPack App and add a stamp.
  • If more than one person needs the scanner, invite them under Account, then Users.

Still stuck?

If none of this covers it, send us a message and a person will reply. Tell us what you were doing when it went wrong, and we can usually sort it in one message.

So we can reply. We use it for nothing else.

Optional. Handy if it is quicker to talk it through.

A few words, such as: stamps not showing on a card.

What you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead.
