What the product already stops
- A reward cannot be spent unless the card actually holds enough stamps. LoyalPack App refuses and says how far off they are.
- Spending twice on one tap is not possible: a repeated press is recognised as the same action and counted once.
- A full card will not take more stamps until the reward is given, so nobody can quietly run up two rewards at a time.
- A card from another business will not scan on your account at all.
The two habits that cover the rest
Scan in front of the customer, and spend the reward at the moment you hand it over. Not before, not after they have left. Almost every awkward case comes from a gap between those two moments.
The other is to look at the screen. The name and the count are there before you press anything, and checking them takes less time than the press does.
If you think something is wrong
Under Reports, the Audit Log shows every stamp and every reward spent with the person who was signed in at the time. If several people share one login you will see the account rather than the person, which is the main practical reason to give staff their own.
Keep it proportionate. A stamp card is worth a fraction of a reward, and a scheme that feels like it is policing people costs more goodwill than it saves.
