Train your staff to stamp cards consistently

Scanning and stamping

Five minutes with whoever works the counter, and the two or three rules worth agreeing in advance.

Show them once

  1. Open LoyalPack App and let them see the camera come up.
  2. Scan a card, and point out the name and the count before the button.
  3. Tap Award stamp, and show them the confirmation.
  4. Tap Scan next customer, so they know the queue moves without reloading anything.

Agree the rules, not just the taps

Most inconsistency is not about the app. It is that two people have different ideas about what earns a stamp. Decide these before the first shift and say them out loud.

  • One stamp per what, exactly? Per visit, per transaction, or per item. Pick one and write it down.
  • Stamp after the sale is completed, not while it is being rung up. A cancelled sale with a stamp on it is a stamp you cannot take back.
  • Check the name on screen matches the person in front of you before tapping. It is the only check there is.
  • What to do when somebody has no phone. Agree it in advance so nobody has to invent an answer at a busy counter.

What they cannot get wrong

Reassure them: a double tap is counted once, a full card will not take another stamp until the reward is given, and nothing they do at the counter can touch your reports, your billing or your card design.

Give each person their own login. It costs nothing extra on either plan, and it means the Audit Log tells you who did what, which is the only way to spot a habit worth correcting.

Still stuck?

If none of this covers it, send us a message and a person will reply. Tell us what you were doing when it went wrong, and we can usually sort it in one message.

So we can reply. We use it for nothing else.

Optional. Handy if it is quicker to talk it through.

A few words, such as: stamps not showing on a card.

What you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead.
